Still going strong!!

This morning Joseph went for his second session of pulmonary rehabilitation! Once again, he did amazing!! He worked out for about 45 minutes without getting short of breath at all!! Wow!! It's pretty amazing that it has been less than 4 weeks since his surgery and he is doing so well!!

Later this afternoon, Joseph wanted to exercise some MORE!! WOW!! So, he called Michael over and we all walked about a mile around our neighborhood. Joseph kept talking about how awesome it was that he could do that now... that he could actually walk and not get short of breath! It's something he hasn't experienced in over 20 years!

We are so thankful for this amazing GIFT that has been given to us!! We are constantly reminded of the precious life who gave us these amazing new lungs. That special person is truly our greatest hero! Please continue to pray for their family and friends as I am sure they are still mourning. May God shower down His comfort and peace upon them.

Again... thank you all for your prayers and support. We love you!

  1. WHATS UP BRO, ITS GREAT TO HEAR HOW YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE IS GETTING SO MUCH BETTER. WE ALL TAKE SOMETHING LIKE WALKING FOR GRANTED, IT AWSOME TO HEAR YOU SAY HOW GREAT IT FEELS TO DO SOMETHING THAT SEEMS SO SIMPLE. IT ENCOURAGES ME TO BE MORE APRESIATIVE. GOOD LUKE BUDDY, AND DON'T HESITATE TO HIT ME UP IF THERE IS ANYTHING I CAN DO FOR YOU. DAVID CARTER
